How old before puppies stop teething and when will they loose puppy teeth ? Our 13 week old puppy chews everthing it can get hold of.

I have a new puppy and the Vet game me a free sample of Science Diet puppy. He’s a GSD and is 41 lbs at about 5 months. I’ve seen Science Diet Puppy Large Breed as well. Is there a significant difference between the two or is it just marketing?

I am planning to buy a non registered toy poodle puppy. I am afraid that I might be cheated by the breeder by giving me a miniature poodle puppy. So is there any way to know which type of poodle the puppy will be?

I have 5 3month old puppies.
One contacted the virus and we had her put to sleep.

Now another puppy is showing symptoms.
I can’t handle putting another puppy to sleep, I want to try to treat her.
The vet advised us to wait 10 days, because if they already had it vaccination wouldn’t help.

These pups are 4 weeks old. They already have teeth. How soon can I give them puppy food? And should I moisten it first?

My german shepherd puppy loves to take walks with me. He’s 10 weeks old and i wondered what the time limit is for a puppy of that age. He keeps up well and i think the longest walk we’ve been on so far has been around 1/2 hour. I get a little worried about hips and elbows since he’s a large breed puppy and growing fast. Is 30 minutes too long? How long of a walk should we go on?

One of the mother’s mammary glands ruptured and she stopped letting the pups drink her milk. I have been using puppy formula for a week and now the pups are refusing to drink it. My vet suggested weening them off the formula by mixing it with puppy food and warm water making it into a mush, but he never said how much to give at once. I have 9 pups, any suggestions?

I have never owned a dog (only cats). I plan on spending the next year researching the perfect puppy for my son and then getting him his first puppy by the time is beginning to walk. I want a dog that is loving, sweet, very playful and also protective. I prefer smaller to mid-size dogs but would consider any breed. Any and all suggestions will be appreciated. Thanks in advance for your comments, suggestions and feedback.

I am getting a mini australian shepherd puppy in 2 weeks. I am completely prepared for her, new puppy vet appointment and everything. I work 8:30-5:30 everyday and am coming home at lunch to walk her. Will she be ok when I am not home?
I have gotten a large crate, and the necessary items to keep her comfortable and happy all day.

I have a male rottweiler, he’s about 8 months old and I’m still feeding him Purina’s Beneful for Puppies. He’s beginning to get bored of the same food. But I heard that puppy food is for the nutrients and for the dogs to gain weight, I really wan my Rottie to gain more weight.
