Who is going to buy your baby hamsters? After only 20 – 25 days, baby hamsters can be weaned. They can begin to breed once they reach 45 days old. Once the pups are born, there is not much time before you need to find them homes. You should try to decide where your babies are going long before the time. Please, do not turn the babies loose. Some other animal will probably eat them, or they will starve to death. If they are lucky enough to survive, then they will likely become a problem, just like so many other will rodents.
