I really enjoy watching the television series called Stargate with my son. Its basic idea is that aliens seeded the earth thousands of years ago and use humans as hosts for themselves to live in. While controlling their mind they are a highly advanced alien race that resembles a snake and inhabits the bodies of humanoids. A friendly alien is removed from its host in one episode and is dying. They try to replicate its surroundings inside of a human but it still continues to die. One of the doctors is reminded that a human being has a small electrical current going through the body continuously, just as it seems that all hope is lost; kind of like a built in perpetual microcurrent therapy. So the doctors introduced a small electrical current to the alien’s artificial environment and it came miraculously back to life. Pet Cranial Electrotherapy Stimulation

Electrotherapy, or, microcurrent therapy has been used for at least two thousand years. In fact, a Roman Doctor named Scribonius Largus in 46 AD recommended to his patients that they should stand on top of a live torpedo fish to help cure such things as gout and headaches. Torpedo fish can give off a powerful electric shock to stun their prey. In the second century a physician named Claudius Galen also recommended the electric fish as an appropriate medical therapy.

All over the world low intensity CES has been used for centuries to fight every thing from depression to anxiety; back aches and spinal injuries, headaches and many other disorders. So with so much history and research and success with microcurrent therapy is there any reason why our pets shouldn’t benefit from this science?

When I was researching a problem I was having with my cat I came across a website. Using CES on household pets and horses a lady named Ava Frick is seeing enormous results. She is witnessing anxiety, pain, depression, and countless other problems plaguing the animals we adore and love fade away by properly using and implementing the tools of microcurrent therapy. In the areas of animal and pet pain, depression and anxiety she’s an impressive expert.

I know that some of you may be thinking of that device that my mother-in-law purchased in order to stop her dog from barking. It went around the animal’s neck like a collar and whenever the dog barked the collar would emit an enormous electric shock to stun the poor dog into associating barking with severe pain. That is not what I’m talking about when writing about microcurrent therapy. That point has to be made crystal clear. That kind of electric shock therapy is torturous and really should be outlawed in my opinion. Microcurrent therapy is designed to relieve pain and suffering and provide happiness and joy to your beloved animals. Don’t let yourself be fooled by the similarities. They really have little in common. To ensure your animal is in the best environment to enable healing and relief Ava Frick uses state of the art technology in a highly controlled environment. Canine Chiropractic

I really haven’t thought that cancer could be possible for dogs. We usually thought that cancer could only affect us man, but don’t you know that it could also affect your beloved dog? A dog’s cancer diagnosis is one of frightening news you could ever face with your beloved pet. Just the mere fact of losing your loved one when they get sick is equally devastating be it in your family or your beloved dog.

Up to date, cancer is one of the leading causes of death of dogs in United States. Study shows that 20 million dogs die yearly in the U.S. due to cancer in any forms. Around 1 out of 4 dogs are affected in the U.S. So, to all pet lovers out there, we need to stay vigilant in detecting cancer in our animals. There are certain signs and symptoms that could signal dog cancer and they are the following;

Signs of Cancer in Dogs

1.	Changes in bowel or bladder habits

2.	A sore that does not heal

3.	Unusual growth of bumps or swelling or even drooling

4.	Chronic vomiting or diarrhea

5.	Difficulty in eating or swallowing

6.	Fatigue or difficulty in exercising

7.	Bleeding

8.	Bad mouth odor

9.	Lack of appetite

10.	Weight loss

11.	Nagging cough

12.	Lethargy

The best treatment for cancer in dogs is prevention. All pet lovers are encouraged to manually examine their dogs at home. Try to palpate your dogs body with your hands and observe for any signs of lumps, bumps, or sores or any unusual growth. If you see any of this danger signs, perhaps, it’s about time you submit your dog for a confirmatory diagnosis with your veterinarian.

Ensure that your dog receive the nutrition they need. Feed your dogs with high-quality and well-balanced diet with low amounts of simple carbohydrates and high amounts of n-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids.

Also, have your pet exercise regularly. Do not expose your dog to industrial chemicals and tobacco smoke as they are known to be carcinogenic, ability to cause cancer.

As a pet owner, I always see to it that I get to spend more time with my dog. I always find time to play with him in my lawn. I really like to use my favorite lawn mower blade which I bought at my well-trusted mower parts store. For me, they are simply the best. Satisfaction guaranteed.

People who buy dog food in Australia are often confuse and mistaken by the colorful bags and neat advertisements. With the help of careful planning and decision of the right kind of dog/cat food for your pet, the confusion can be solved. Click through here for more information on wellness dog food.

There are so many selections depending on the aspects for the right kind of dog/cat food, i will enumerate a few:

It depends on

the size or breed of your pet, also its daily activities and the life span it has, and its health factors

Before proceeding to your pets basic needs first you need to consider these important factors.

Some of the leading names associated with dog food in Sydney include eukanuba dog food, hills science diet dog food, royal canin dog food, eagle pack dog food, aims dog food, supercoat dog food and pedigree dog food. But for choosing the right dog food among them you need to consider the above given factors. You can obtain more information on canidae dog food here.

Your dog’s size plays an important role in deciding the amount of advance dog food that should be fed to your pet. Usually good brands such as royal canine dog food and royal canine cat food contain feeding regulations and even the approximate amounts is present on the bag. The labels that these dog/cat foods have are your guide to follow depending on the specific needs of your pet. You can gain tons of valuable information about nutro dog food here.

It is important to note that the specific nutritional requirements of dogs vary according to their breeds. Certain breeds require more nutrition than others in order to live the best possible lifestyle. Manufacturers of dog food are well-acquainted with such

issues and to overcome such problems have started producing breed specific cat and dog food products.

Pets that are very energetic also require foods that supplement higher calories. Calorie rich food such as eukanuba dog food, hills science diet dog food, eagle pack dog food, aims dog food, supercoat dog food and pedigree dog food are appropriate for working dogs, as they remain highly active while assisting their masters in daily tasks.

Another essential role for picking the right food for your pet is their lifespan. Nutritional needs keep on changing with the passage of time and different life stages have different nutritional needs.

Puppies require a protein rich, high calorie dog food, whereas adult dogs require a balanced dog food including all the necessary elements. Older dogs have special needs.

By following the factors above,it will guide you in finding the
right food for your pet.

While at the park walking, with my best friend and cherished dog Rufus, I noticed he wasn’t pulling me along like he usually does. I walked slower so I could see what was wrong. I noticed that he was limping everytime he walked and he also looked like as though he was in pain the whole time as he struggled to move his legs. To match his slower gait, I walk slower than I used to. We were beginning to lose out on our favorite exercise. Dog Joint Pain

Eager to find out what was wrong with Rufus, I took him to my regular vet. I was told that Rufus had pet arthritis. He gave me medicine for the dog joint pain, and sent us on our way. Everytime we give Rufus his medicine, we have to fight with him; it was obvious that he disliked the medicine. Then one morning, Rufus couldn’t walk anymore. She just won’t get up anymore. I felt bad for Rufus.

I desperately looked on the internet for help and found Animal Fitness Center ran by Dr. She said Rufus’ inability to walk was caused by pet arthritis and dog joint pain. Dr. Ava Frick said that the Animal Fitness Center can help Rufus without the need of medication. I wanted to see Rufus walk again so I booked an appointment right away.

Dr. Ava Frick said that there are many treatments available including animal chiropractic care. These treatments were intended for animal pain relief and rehabilitation. Rufus had dog joint pain and not canine paralysis; I was thrilled when I found out about it. Dr, Ava Frick told me it shouldn’t take too long for the treatment to start working. Rufus started to walk again, albeit slowly, after several treatments and a change in diet. Rufus’ recovery wouldn’t be possible without the help of the people who were involved in the therapy. Everything is back to normal, Rufus is now pulling me along with his leash, just like the old times.

The Animal Fitness Center has been a great help to me and Rufus. We were in good hands. Dr. Ava Frick and her team were able to determine what the problem was and provided the necessary treatment for Rufus. Not mask it behind “traditional” animal pain relief, like most other veterinarians do. Dr. Ava Frick has the skills, experience and tools to work miracles. Pet Chiropractic

Is your dog or cat immune to the threat of the Paralysis Tick ? Unfortunately, if you live in a paralysis tick area, the answer is probably no. Dogs and cats can be a perfect host for paralysis ticks. Paralysis ticks can attach to your pet, often when wandering through bushy areas, thick grass or vegetation.

How bad for your pets are paralysis ticks?
In one word – very. Once they’ve found their way onto an animal’s fur, paralysis ticks can quickly reach the skin and attach themselves. When they’ve latched on, they suck blood and also secrete a nasty toxin. If the tick is left undetected on your pet, its toxin can be very dangerous – even fatal.

Some of the symptoms related to the tick toxin include:
•	Loss of coordination in the hind legs
•	A change in the voice or bark, or coughing
•	Loss of appetite, vomiting, retching and regurgitation
•	Noisy grunting and breathing
•	Excessive drooling
•	Anxiety, hypersensitivity and distress
•	Progressive paralysis

You may also be able to see red and raised skin around where the tick has attached itself or a ‘tick crater’ may appear.

How long does it take for tick symptoms to appear?
In many cases signs of a paralysis tick won’t appear until the tick has been attached on your pet for several days. Not all of the above-listed symptoms may be noticeable, and some of them are often confused with other pet illnesses. Unfortunately, this means some owners put off taking their pet to the veterinary clinic.

What can I do if my pet has a tick?
The first thing is to remove the tick and contact your veterinarian as soon as possible. The veterinarian will assess your pet and then treat for tick toxicity if required.

Symptoms can take a while to show and unfortunately delay in removing the tick or treating the toxicity can result in your pet’s death. As always, prevention is better than cure. If you find a tick on your pet, don’t forget to continue searching for more.

How can I help protect my pet from paralysis ticks?

1.	Avoid the tick habitat. Ask your veterinarian for advice if you are living in or planning to travel to a paralysis tick area. Paralysis ticks are generally found on the eastern seaboard of Australia, but can be found in slightly different areas and at different times every year.

2.	Thoroughly check your pet’s skin and coat every day during the paralysis tick season – even if you’re using a tick control product. Feel and look for unusual lumps, and if you find a tick, remove it straight away and call your veterinarian.

3.	Use a tick control product. If you have a dog use Frontline PLUS® every 2 weeks. For cats, use FRONTLINE® SPRAY every 3 weeks. Always remember to read the label instructions. To remind you when a treatment is due, you can sign up for free email and SMS reminders at www.frontlineplus.com.au.

Horse joint pain is something that has never crossed my mind. It always seemed to me that horses, especially my favorite pet Semper, is impervious to pain and sickness. When my beautiful pet Semper seemed to be aching, I had no clue where to begin. Luckily I found Dr. Ava Frick’s website about her Animal Fitness Center. I learned that animals, even horses, can be susceptible to diseases and illnesses that are also experienced by humans. If I hadn’t brought my equine friend to the doctor on time, his joint problems would have exacerbated and I would really not forgive myself for being so insensitive to his pain.Pet Chiropractic

What Dr. Ava Frick explained to me was that horse joint pain is common to equines that are at least 15 years of age. Just like in humans, the tendons and cartilage of horses can also be susceptible to wear and tear as they grow old. Since I got Semper when I was 14 I didn’t think about his aging causing pain, swelling, stiffness and swelling in his joints. I was not able to tell that my beloved horse was suffering for so long because I could not tell he was in any pain. I was still putting him through hours of practice and even rode him everyday around our farm.

Medication and drugs are usually given for equine joint pain. However, I know for a fact that pain medication can also be harmful to the internal organs of horses. Besides, I want to make sure that the management of my beloved Semper’s problems should be done as natural as possible. So it was great that Dr. Ava Frick supports alternative therapy to medications for treatment. I love that the Animal Fitness Center uses holistic methods of therapy to relieve Horse Joint Pain. Not only do they specialize in relieving pain through electronic devices but they also concentrate on the proper nutrition needed for a fast recovery. I was truly relieved to see how my horse was cared for during his stay at the Animal Fitness Center.

One thing about the Dog Pain Relief care that Dr. Ava Frick gave to Semper is that it was custom just for him. Treatments like this are targeted towards the root of the problem so they can cure it instead of just treating the pain caused by it. Although medications can ease the horse joint pain felt by Semper, these will not really target to root cause of the problem, they will simply manage the symptoms. Aside from massage therapy, my horse was also subjected to PST Vet (Pulsed Signal Therapy), which is a non invasive type of pain management that not only helps alleviate pain but also boosts the functionality of problematic areas. Already Semper is showing improvement after just a few weeks at the Animal Fitness Center.Horse Paralysis

Sometimes, not matter how hard you try, seeing your pet experiencing Animal Depression is to hard for any pet lover. I was overcome with depression last year when my beautiful Chihuahua died. What my friends did to alleviate the sadness that I was feeling was buy me a new Chihuahua. When I saw my new Chihuahua I really did feel a little better from losing Fritzy. At least I had a new friend to care for and love. I had Fritzy for so long that I didn’t really know how to deal with this new pet. Although I tried my best to make Dolly feel at home, she was really impossible. The happiness I felt when I saw Dolly was quickly overcome with stress. No matter what I did for her she had mass mood swings from being overly aggressive to becoming lethargic on a regular basis. Even after I potty trained her she still kept going in her kennel and in my house.Animal Pain Relief

It is a good thing that I stumbled upon Midwest Microcurrent in a forum that talks about Animal Depression. I found out Dolly was experiencing animal depression and anxiety according to Dr. Ava Frick. I know that not being active can cause depression because I saw it in the end of Fritzy’s life, but I did not know that other signs consisted of things Dolly was showing, like aggression, fear and going in the house. Who would have guessed that my pampered pooch was still down and depressed.

I like Dr. Ava Frick’s holistic alternatives to dealing with pet anxiety or animal depression. I was afraid that she would recommend drugs or other medications to calm down the nerves of my beloved new pet. Instead of prescribing any medication, Dr. Ava Frick offered a program that used an Alpha-Stim Stress Control System that is safe for dogs. I kid you not but n less than one hour Dolly was less aggressive. She looked so calm and happy.

I was informed that one treatment would not cure Dolly of her pet anxiety. Work got in the way of Dolly’s needed treatments but I was relieved to find out I could bring Midwest Microcurrent’s Alpha-Stim SCS treatment home. This device is fairly easy to use so I did not really have any problems when using it to help ease Dolly’s depression. Dolly’s depression and misbehavior seemed to clear up in just a few weeks of treatment. Her skin has cleared up and she love attention from anyone and other animals.Equine Arthritis

Dogs are very similar to humans. Just like humans, their bodies begin to fail with age and deterioration. dog arthritis is one of the most painful diseases that develops along with old age. As humans, a lot of us know how painful that can be. Another issue is dog diarrhea. If a dog’s digestive system is having problems, this can be a common result. However, as with humans, taking precautionary steps during youth can prevent illness in later years. We take vitamins, exercise, stretch and do all sorts of things to prevent illness as we age. Dogs and their owners should treat the dog the same.

Here are some easy ways to start providing your dog with a healthier life, thus prolonging it. First, the most important factor in any creatures’ health is nutrition. If your dog lacks good nutrition, it could hurt him or her in the future. I would advise not to put anything into your pet’s body that you wouldn’t put into yours. A lot of dog foods are manufactured from scraps and processed junk. The best choice for your animal is to choose organic or home-made foodUsing organic food or making it at home is the best alternative for your pet. You can find a number of books on making dog food in your home. This may sound like a hassle, but it is really quite easy and money saving.

Next, you can’t ignore the exercise factor of your pets life. Slovenly beings never live well. Part of owning a dog is being responsible for walking and playing with it. Exercising your dog isn’t difficult either. Most of us work out, so take your pet along. Whether you’re walking, running or hiking the chances are that your dog would enjoy tagging along. Another way to get your dog moving is to play fetch or Frisbee. Simply grab a leash and frisbee next time you’re going to the park and have a play date. Almost no creature is as great to play with as a dog, so we should embrace that.

Third, You have to take your dog for regular check ups. Don’t wait until your dog is ill or injured to take it to the vet. Regular inspections are vital to good health, just like they are kids. It will keep your dog at a healthy weight and avoid small illnesses. Worms and ear infections are common, but easily ignored problems dogs encounter. If ignored for long enough though, they can grow into big health issues. Most of us can’t see these issues by ourselves, so regular check-ups are the only way to prevent this.

Pet and their owners build a special bond, one that is unique from any other relationship.During the years they are together, dogs and their owners become family. In order to prolong that friendship, you should care for your dog while it is still young. As they age, dogs suffer from health issues just like humans do. If you provide your dog with proper health care, nutrition, and exercise while it is young, you can most of the of issues that come with age. Don’t think that just because your dog isn’t physically ill, it doesn’t need to be take care of. Take advantage of the chance while you can.

How do you go about picking your dog food? Do you understand how to read the labels and do you know what each ingredient really is?

While doing research on possible cause for dog seizures I started to investigate dog food ingredients.. What I found out was both amazing and scary, so I immediately started a crusade to educate pet owners around the world.

Relax I’m not going to try and sell you some upscale dog food, but I am going to show you how you should be choosing your loved ones food.

Would it surprise you if I told you that by simply changing how you pick your dog food, could add up to 8.3 years to their lives? How great would it be to have eight more years of tail wagging unconditional love from your loved one?

It was not easy sifting through the fiction to find the facts about what the ingredients listed in dog food really were. While it is true the FDA regulates dog food labeling, it does not use the same standards it uses for food prepared for people..

The FDA’s weak regulations of dog food labeling have made it easy for the pet food industry to hide unhealthy ingredients that they use to make the food more attractive to dogs so that they’ll eat it. Some of these ingredients are actually deadly over the long term for your dogs. The problem is they are allowing the industry to play with words and that makes it hard for the pet owner to really know what is in the food…

The difference between a dog food named Beef Dog Food and Beef Flavored Dog Food is that the first would contain around 70% beef (of some kind) and the second could contain 0% beef of any kind.

If the name of the food contains the word “with” then by law that food only needs to contain around 3% of that ingredient. The words “Dinner” or “Nuggets” along with many more words all change the quality of the dog food.

The dog food industry has been allowed to use the bottom end of the food chain as their ingredients. These ingredients are all marked unfit for human consumption somewhere along the process.

Because human food processing produces some much waste, the pet food industry has been able to use this as byproducts to make their products. These ingredients are first marked unfit for human consumption to ensure they don’t find their way back into the human food chain

Sometimes it seems like the FDA is in bed with the dog food industry with these weak regulations that allow the industry to list toxic ingredients using words that sound healthy. One example of this is the use of the words Dried Egg Products as an ingredient in your dog food. This sounds healthy enough and it is listed as a source of protein, but this ingredient is a leftover by-product that is marked unfit for human consumption.

The problem is there are hundreds of ingredients listed on dog food labels that seem to mean one thing when in reality they mean something completely different.

The deception of the dog food labeling laws has forced me into transitioning my dogs to a homemade dog food. I do understand that this is not feasible for all pet owners, but it does underscore the need for them to alt least learn how to properly interpret a dog food label. For a detailed explanation on how to read and understand what the ingredients listed on your dog food label really are go to the website link below..

Ninety percent of health problems found in pets today can be blamed on poor nutrition in their diets. That is why I stared to do research on dog food, when my Beagle started to have seizures, and that is why he is now on a homemade dog food diet.

Have you ever noticed how many pets are now dying from diseases that we humans have been fighting for ages?. Vet clinics are opening all over, and even in small towns business is booming.

After my research I feel the quality of commercial pet foods is playing a major roll in the increase of pet diseases

No matter what they say in their commercials, the pet food industry cares about one thing and that’s profits not the health of our pets. We can not continue to take chances with the lives of our loved ones, and that is why I have decided to transition my dogs to a homemade dog food diet.

It is very important to understand that any homemade dog food must be made to be nutritionally balanced. No worries I founds some great recourses that I’ll share with you that will make this fun.

I’m going to get straight to the point here. Now that you know that the pet food industry does not care that they are poising your dog, you must take control of the health of your dog and put him on a homemade dog food diet

Do you see how important this decision is? It’s as simple as this, do you want your dog to die early or would you like him to live to see twenty?

Contrary to what we have been programmed to believe the life expectancy of a dog is closer to 20 than it is 10.. It’s very easy to understand, our pets are what they eat and if we continue to feed them crap then they will continue to die young If we take the time to learn how to make them a nutritionally balanced homemade dog food, then they live longer.

With a homemade dog food diet you have complete control over the ingredients and where they came from. You also know that being made in your kitchen, you control the environment and its cleanliness.

We need to take the time to learn to do this correctly. It would not be wise to use processed food to prepare our homemade dog food when we know they are the cause of human diseases.

This all sounds harder than what it is. The research has already been done and all we need to do is follow some instructions.. I’m excited about my dogs living to be 20 because of what I have learned about homemade dog food.

I’m also relieved that I no longer need to worry about my dog’s food showing up on a dog food recall list. Join me and learn how to feed your dog, food that will never be on a dog food recall list by clicking here now.
