While I spent so much time being concerned with what effect the relocation from our current home to our new house had on my kids, I did not think about what this day would mean for the family pet. I made sure that everyone had what they needed packed and set for moving day, including the dog. I did not think about the fact that her bed would smell like the moving companies truck or that her bowls were at the bottom of the box that we would unpack last. This weekend I wanted to go for a movie and I decided to book the tickets for the movie which related to a dog’ life. My husband was furious as he did not want to watch this movie. Anyhow I succeeded in convincing him and finally we moved to the theater for the movie. His first reaction was still very suspicious . He just asked me, “Don’t you think this movie must be an over-sentimental kiddies’ flick?” Firstly, the movie showed no sign of being a dog’s movie. I was surprised but then step by step the movie was full of sheer love and puppy-like devotion. The story was actually based on a man’s life that had a pet which was none other than a dog, and the man’s life was full of joy and contented family life. Then all of a sudden his family met with an ill-fated mishap and all the family members were no-more. He was left behind alone in the family along with his dog. The man was in sadness for a longer period of time and then the doctors recommended his friends that he needs some change. During this course it was showed how his dog cared for this man. The dog whole-heartedly looked after his master and would not leave him unaided even for a second. My husband was certainly enthused by the dog’s attitude and was astonished that how these animals give in return even if the masters are unable to give them any love in this situation . These animals are always loyal and it was affirmed in this movie. The main aim of the movie was that the director of the movie was trying to show that people who have dogs as pets in their house know the reaction, but people who do not have dogs at home can think of adopting these gentle animals as their pets and experience the devotion of their love.

I love pets and I have always had pets. I had some large dogs and horses when I was younger. But when I went away to college I could not take my pets with me. I had to leave them at home.
