Since I got Semper when I was 14 I didn’t think about his aging causing pain, swelling, stiffness and swelling in his joints. I was not able to tell that my beloved horse was suffering for so long because I could not tell he was in any pain. Treatments like this are targeted towards the root of the problem so they can cure it instead of just treating the pain caused by it. Although medications can ease the horse joint pain felt by Semper, these will not really target to root cause of the problem, they will simply manage the symptoms.
